Description: Want to learn the secrets of growing your own plants? Join the Friends of Birkenhead Park for this free interactive seed growing workshop. Perfect for families or anyone who wants to get their hands dirty.

The workshop will cover the basics;

-getting the right compost, seed tray and pots

-how to sow and look after seeds

-how to grow potatoes/onions in a small space

You will be able to take away your potted seeds to grow and enjoy harvesting and eating!

This is a hands-on session in the Edward Kemp Community Garden, so please wear sensible shoes. Please bring an old bucket or container to plant up if you have one. Seed trays and seeds will be provided.

This workshop is free of charge, thanks to the Friends of Birkenhead Park and funding from Wirral Council.
